National Pollution Control Day

National Pollution Control Day was observed with great enthusiasm in our school, where students took an active role in understanding how nature itself helps combat pollution. The highlight of the event was a special activity in which children explained various plants that contribute to cleaner air and a healthier environment.

Students confidently presented information about plants such as Neem, known for its strong air-purifying properties; Tulsi, which releases oxygen and absorbs harmful gases; Aloe Vera, a natural indoor purifier; and Money Plant, popular for reducing indoor air pollutants. They also showcased plants like Bamboo and Snake Plant, explaining how these green companions can effectively filter toxins and increase oxygen levels around us.

Through charts, models, and simple demonstrations, the young learners expressed the importance of planting more trees and maintaining greenery in our surroundings. Their curiosity and awareness reflected how deeply they understand the need to protect the environment.

The event not only enhanced their knowledge but also encouraged them to adopt eco-friendly habits in daily life.

National Pollution Control Day became a meaningful learning experience, reminding everyone that even small efforts—like growing the right plants—can make a big difference in reducing pollution.
