International Yoga Day, observed on 21st June every year, is a celebration of ancient Indian wisdom and its contribution to global well-being. Gajera Vidyabhavan, Sachin, marked this special day with immense enthusiasm and active participation from the learners. Guided by trained instructors and supported by the school’s dedicated educators, students performed various yoga asanas including Tadasana, Vrikshasana, Trikonasana, and Bhujangasana. The Higher Secondary learners also conducted a brief presentation on the history and evolution of yoga, tracing its roots from the Indus Valley Civilization to its global recognition today. The informative session reflected their research skills and deep respect for this Indian heritage.
The celebration concluded with a collective pledge taken by all students to practice yoga regularly and lead a healthy lifestyle.
