Today 28th July , 2025, Monday, Celebration On the beautiful occasion of World Nature Conservation Day, our school came alive with enthusiasm and eco-awareness! This special day was celebrated with different activities planned for students of various classes, helping them connect with nature and understand the importance of conserving it. Here’s how each group contributed to protecting our planet:
Classes 1st & 2nd – Watering the Plants
Our youngest eco-warriors took part in a sweet and meaningful activity – watering the plants around the school garden. With little watering cans in their hands and big smiles on their faces, these children learned how plants depend on us for survival, just like we depend on them for air, shade, and beauty.
Classes 3rd to 5th – Nature Scavenger Hunt
The middle primary students enjoyed a fun-filled Nature Scavenger Hunt! Armed with their lists, they searched for things like fallen leaves, feathers, pebbles, and flowers. Through this engaging outdoor activity, they observed nature closely and learned to respect even the tiniest elements of the environment.
Classes 6th to 8th – Poster Making: Save Water
The upper primary students expressed their creativity by making powerful “Save Water” posters. Their artwork included slogans like “Every Drop Counts” and “Don’t Waste Water,” reminding everyone that saving water is an essential part of conserving nature.
School-Wide Celebration
The entire school joined in a special assembly where students shared thoughts, poems, and skits about nature conservation. Teachers explained why this day is important and how small steps like planting trees, saving water, and reducing plastic can make a big difference.
A Day to Remember
World Nature Conservation Day in our school was not just a celebration but a learning experience. Each activity helped students understand their role in protecting nature. By nurturing a love for the environment at a young age, we are sowing the seeds of a greener tomorrow.
Let’s keep growing together – with nature, for nature!
