Kargil Vijay Diwas is observed on 26th July each year to honor the heroes of the Kargil War. This significant day is celebrated throughout India, with the national capital, New Delhi, being the focal point where the Prime Minister pays homage to the soldiers at Amar Jawan Jyoti, located at India Gate.
Various functions are organized nationwide to commemorate the immense contributions of the Indian Armed Forces. As students, it is vital for us to grasp the importance of this day, the events that transpired during the Kargil War, and the valuable lessons we can glean from it. Let us immerse ourselves in the heroic tale of Kargil Vijay Diwas and express our heartfelt tribute to the brave soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.
At Gajera Vidyabhavan Sachin, we also paid tribute to our martyrs by arranging different events. Students from the primary section showcased their respect by performing dances and singing patriotic songs, fostering a sense of patriotism among them. Meanwhile, a poster-making competition was held for secondary section students, providing them with a creative platform to honor the soldiers’ sacrifices.
To conclude the day, our esteemed Principal and Vice Principal motivated and enlightened the students about the immeasurable sacrifices made by our soldiers, ensuring that their memory lives on in our hearts.
