On 28th July 2025, the students of Gajera Vidyabhavan, Sachin paid a heartfelt tribute to the heroes of the nation through a Poster Making Competition held in honour of Kargil Vijay Diwas. The event served as a platform for students to express their patriotism, gratitude, and respect for the Indian Armed Forces who displayed unparalleled courage during the Kargil War of 1999.
The theme, “Kargil Vijay Diwas,” inspired students to delve into the stories of bravery, sacrifice, and victory that define this significant day in Indian history. With brushes, colours, and slogans, participants translated their emotions into powerful visual expressions. Their posters depicted scenes from the battlefield, portraits of brave soldiers, the Indian flag waving with pride, and inspiring quotes that echoed the spirit of nationalism.
Students from various grades took part with great enthusiasm. The classrooms turned into creative hubs where silence was filled with deep focus and the occasional hum of patriotic songs. Teachers and mentors encouraged the participants to think beyond just art—to connect emotionally with the theme and create something meaningful.
This competition not only allowed students to showcase their artistic talents but also instilled in them a deeper understanding of the sacrifices made by our soldiers. It served as a reminder that freedom comes at a cost, and it is our duty to remember and honour those who protect it.
The best posters will be displayed on the school campus to inspire others and keep the spirit of Kargil Vijay Diwas alive. The event was a moving tribute, and it beautifully reflected the school’s effort to instill patriotism and respect for national heroes in its students.
Through this creative initiative, Gajera Vidyabhavan once again reaffirmed its commitment to holistic education—where academics, art, and values come together to shape responsible and inspired citizens of tomorrow.
