On October 12, 2023, a memorable celebration was held to mark Maker’s Day, which coincided with the birth anniversary of our esteemed trustee, Late Smt. Sunitaben Gajera. The event was graced by the presence of the school’s Principal, Mr. Nitin Patil, and Vice Principal, Mrs. Anju Mistry, who inaugurated the proceedings by lighting a ceremonial lamp. The day’s activities began on a light-hearted note with a Hasykavi Samelan, where students and perhaps even staff shared humorous poetry and stand-up comedy.
The students had the opportunity to showcase their creative talents through an exhibition of their cloth art creations, demonstrating their artistic prowess. In the spirit of celebrating Indian culture, a group discussion on Indian festivals allowed the students to share their knowledge and perspectives on the diverse festivals that enrich our nation’s heritage.
A lively debate on a pertinent topic was also part of the program, providing a platform for students to express their thoughts and enhance their public speaking skills. The celebration reached its cultural zenith with a mesmerizing traditional dance performance, infusing the event with a vibrant and festive ambiance.
The event concluded with the words of wisdom and inspiration from Principal Mr. Nitin Patil and Vice Principal Mrs. Anju Mistry, who emphasized the importance of the day and likely paid heartfelt tribute to the late Smt.
