Club collaboration competition

Club activities bring happiness to students. They enjoy working in clubs during their free time. They choose clubs based on their interests. I feel proud to say that club activities are thriving in our school. Every Saturday, the last two periods, and in the secondary sections, the 4th and 5th periods are dedicated to club activities. You might wonder, “What is club activity?” In these clubs, students are given a platform to showcase their creativity. Why do we organize these clubs? It’s to encourage creativity. Sometimes, students have ideas, plans, and dreams, but they don’t have the opportunity or time to work on them. These clubs provide them with that chance. Here’s a list of the clubs currently running in our school: math club, science club, yoga club, music club, eco-drama club, art and craft club, language club, sports club, chess club, photography club, and more.

on September 13, 2023, we organized the Club Collaboration Competition. In this competition, clubs such as the yoga club, language club, music club, science club, eco-drama club, drawing club, math club, dance club, and chess club participated. All the clubs showcased their creativity. First, the yoga club took the stage, demonstrating yoga in a natural setting. Next, the music club performed traditional Indian music. The language club emphasized the importance of languages like Hindi, Sanskrit, English, and Gujarati. The eco-drama club addressed climate change through their performance. The drawing club displayed their creativity in stone and newspaper art, crafting photo frames. The math club introduced different types of triangles and played a game related to multiples of 3. The chess club explained the rules of chess.

Following these performances, the judges delivered their remarks. They spoke about the significance of club activities, emphasizing that they provide students with opportunities to explore their creativity, turning their ideas into reality. Principal Sir then addressed the students, explaining why the school organizes club activities and highlighting the benefits of these clubs in fostering creativity. He emphasized that club activities give students the chance to bring their imaginative ideas to life.

Finally, it was time for the results. The judges declared the winners. The music club secured the first position, with the yoga club coming in second, and the art and craft club taking third place.

These competitions serve to broaden students’ knowledge about different types of clubs and what they offer. The primary goal is to help students understand the various activities within each club, and gain valuable insights and knowledge. Club activities also enhance creativity and critical thinking skills among our students.
